Honoring Jen Rachiele

A few moths ago Gigi and I were talking, and out of the blue she asked me to share a story about her mom. It was so refreshing and honestly therapeutic to reminisce about Jen. The best part was watching Gigi take this all in and want to hear more stories.

Gigi got me thinking that WE ALL have wonderful memories of Jen and would love to share them with Angeline, Becca, and Gigi. Why not gather all of those memories with letters to the girls and place them in a book for each of them to enjoy?

So, the undertaking has begun, and I thank you all in advance for participating and sharing why we all loved Jen, their mother, so very much!

How to send your tribute:

Please fill out the form below with your remembrance for inclusion in the book.

A few tips:

Be specific. Share stories and details and moments in time to illustrate WHY you loved her (rather than saying “I loved her so much.”
Don’t be afraid to be funny. Jen had a great sense of humor and would relish our sharing memories of her that make us smile, even laugh.
Frame your tribute as a letter. Our memories are held dear by each of us, and now we get to share them with Jen’s daughters, Angeline, Becca, and Gigi.
Write from the heart. Your words will resonate most if you write them how you would speak (in other words, forget about sounding formal and worrying about “writerly“ things—just speak from the heart).
